  • the physical presence of the tutor captures students’ attention, and holds it for longer, meaning more gets achieved in every session.

  • face-to-face sessions create a significantly better rapport between student and teacher. This in turn leads to…

  • students feel more confident asking questions, and tutors can assess and read students’ body language and non-verbal cues to better tailor learning and feedback.

  • our tutors come to you! We make the scheduling process extremely easy, and you won’t need to leave the house.

For students and parents, the benefits are endless.

And to top things off…no technical issues. No lessons interrupted by internet dropouts or laptops needing charging.

Ultimately, both students and parents get a lot more out of each session, and the improved levels of sociability even carry forward into school and University interviews and group and collaborative work.

The term ‘face-to-face’ appears frequently across our website! This term is at the heart of everything we do for many reasons, and is key in our tutors’ ability to deliver such engaging, effective and rewarding sessions.

The Covid era unfortunately (but understandably) changed a lot of peoples’ habits and expectations when it came to private tuition. Zoom calls and Teams sessions became the norm, replacing the traditional face-to-face interactions which had always existed previously.

Thankfully, those Covid days are well and truly in the past, yet surprisingly, our research shows a staggering number of students across the country are still being offered remote tuition…at face-to-face prices…

We believe so strongly in the advantages of face-to-face tuition that only in very rare circumstances will we offer remote learning. An example of this would be a student who has built a great rapport with a tutor, before moving to a different area.
